New Paintings

I was afforded a lovely opportunity to paint at Spar's AGM. They had delegates from all over the country and many people got to view my new painting as I was busy... rather nerve wrecking as this is something I'm not used to but I managed to survive the day and get 3/4 through the painting... I will put up a pick shortly and then find the time to finish it with a terribly busy 2 year old at home :)

This is the beginning stages of another painting... size is roughly 60 x 45 cm.
It is a wheat field - I will update the photo as I go...

and this is the end result...

I have also just completed a seascape and it is for sale, kindly contact me if you are interested.

Then lastly, I've been commissioned to do the below painting... and I love the variety of the 3 paintings I'm busy with, no time to get bored!!!

I've been showing the lovely lady my progress... Emmie, you are an angel and really make me feel so good about the progress I have made with your painting... thank you so much for pushing me to achieve more than what I thought I could.

.. and this one is finally done!

Sketches for Debra of Tristan & Keira & her cousin

All sketches are done with love and care to capture your precious memories.

I was so chuffed to be asked to do a sketch for a lady by the name of Debbie.

I was so nervous that she wouldn't like it. It took me about 4 hours to complete but the thanks that I received from her made me blush... I'm so glad that she is happy with my drawing and has even said that she would spread the word and help me get more business :-) How awesome is that!

This is Tristan & Keira

Debra requested a second sketch from me... so glad that I'm getting come backs :-)

Portrait for Miriam

Miriam requested a sketch of her grandchildren. She supplied 2 photos and requested that I draw the one child from the one photo and the other child from the other photo.

She was so thankful to receive her sketch and complimented me by saying that I have truly blessed her with a lovely gift.

A sketch of Olivia Anne de Jager

One of my work colleagues and friend Ulinde recently gave birth to a bouncing baby girl... this photo was taken when Olivia was roughly 4 days old...

I loved it so much that I had to draw her. Such a cute chubby face!

A sketch of Charl Minnie age 4

This was a sketch done of Charl...
It was done on an A4.
